If they cut and rolled the greens it would be a nice track. They send out too many golfers at once. No spacing. Rounds over 5 hours.

some cart paths need attention, as well as additional sand in bunkers

Simply put....I love the course and play it most the time. No better course to play for me on Long Island.....unless I want to pay more. The course has all I need to make me happy. Plenty of challenge and nice views of LI Sound. These days most courses are over priced, and don't provide as much as this one does. It's right there where it should be. The course is in great condition as well and would rank with just about any other in the immediate area. Need I say more! This course is a gem!

beautiful public golf course with a view of the sound on 17 of 18 holes! When the greens are fast, this course will give you all you can handle especially the greens on #1 and #15

Considering Crab Meadow is a public course (Town of Huntington), it is a real gem. The pace of play is very good because they are religious about not crowding tee times (9 minutes a part). Also, on just about every hole there is a nice view of the Long Island Sound. I thouroughly enjoyed playing this course and I am glad that I recently moved to this area.

Practice green has no holes -- you putt to a stick. Driving range is very expensive given the size of the small buckets. In the practice area, there is a bunker and a practice green you can chip to. Nice addition. Snack bar is very limited. Pro shop, eh. Pace of play was okay. On course rest rooms could use a good cleaning and airing out.
